New Faces in Miami

The Miami Heat is looking to sign to big name players. Troy Murphy and Mike Bibby both just reached buyouts with their respective teams. Mike Bibby is a respected leader at the point guard position standing six foot two. His ability to make big shots and his leadership on the court is something the Heat are playing without right now. He is a major upgrade from there two starting point guards, Mario Chalmers and Carlos Arroyo. Troy Murphy is a very underrated player at the three positions or the four. He can step right in and play a big role as Udonis Haslem is still rehabbing and won’t be back for another four to six weeks. The Celtics are also looking at Troy Murphy which is another reason to try and grab him. He can make a tremendous difference on defense and the rebounding. League sources say that the Heat are the front-runners for both players. Two guys would have to be cut as well, Jamaal Magloire and Carlos Arroyo because they would have too many players on the roster. If these two players were to be signed with the Miami Heat it makes their chances at winning the NBA title much better. Mike Bibby wants a ring more than anything and has said the Heat are the best option in getting that done. Both players would not get paid a lot due to Veterans minimum. The Heat signing these two players gives them the best chance on winning the championship and limiting the Celtics as well. Well Troy Murphy went stupid and signed with the Boston Celtics while Mike Bibby truly understood if he wanted to win an NBA title to sign with the Heat.

Eastern Conference

With the new trades happening right before the trade deadline, the big names in the new places have now made the Eastern Conference much stronger. The two time reigning MVP of the league would agree. He believes with all the big names coming to the East it has made the West weaker and has made the East a stronger conference. Carmelo Anthony is a top five player in this league as he played for the Nuggets the past seven seasons but right before the trade deadline Melo was sent to the New York Knick's his go to team. He is now a teammate of Amar'e and Chauncey making the Knick's that much better. The Miami Heat and New York Knicks battled tonight as LeBron James had twenty seven points, as it was not enough as the Knick's came storming back to beat the Heat in their own house. Deron Williams getting traded to the Nets was a shocking one. He was traded for Devin Harris and Derrick Favors. I completely never saw this one coming. I thought the Jazz would never let their superstar go, but once he was traded the power shifted once again and the Eastern Conference got the upper hand. Throughout the past ten years the Western Coconference has always been the stronger conference until now. With all these big trades and big named players coming to the East, I believe the East is the stronger of the two right now.

2011 NBA All-Star Game

http://search.creativecommons.org/?q=2011NBAALLStarGame

On February 20th, 2011 one of the greatest shows on television comes to Los Angeles for the 2011 NBA All-Star game. The rosters are set and it looks to be a good one. The starting line up for the East begins with Derrick Rose and Dwayne Wade at the guard position. The two forward starting this year has the best player in the league at LeBron James and a top five player in Amar'e Stoudemire. The best center in the league, Dwight Howard is poised to have a great game. The starting line ups for the West starts with Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant at the guard position. Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant are the starting forwards and since Yao Ming is hurt Paul Gasol will be starting. I believe the East All-Stars will pull away and win this game against the West by double digits. The East won last year by one point after Carmelo missed the game winning three. I believe this game could be close but I do believe the East will pull away. After teammate Dwayne Wade won the MVP of this game last year I think two time winner LeBron James will retake his title. I think Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant will put up large numbers but Amar'e, Wade, James and Rose have bigger games as a team. I think this game will be 126-118. I hope this game shows great defense as the last couple have been lacking, but there will be some plays that will be remembered forever. LeBron will prove why he will be winning his third straight MVP award.

How Love will be remembered?

There are three types of love. One is unconditional love which means to love someone no matter what their beliefs or actions are. The second type of love is agape; this means the selfless love of one person for another without sexual implications. The third and final type of love is Eros or erotic love. This love is the love our society will forever be remembered for. This love is a deep sexual desire and attraction for someone. If you look four hundred years from now the society looking back on ours, we will be remembered for our erotic love. There are relationships everywhere that are very passionate that have sexual pleasure day in and day out. I believe that there is nothing wrong with erotic love because that is the way our society is built around.

Super Bowl 45

On February 6th, 2011 the Packers and Steelers met for the big game. The Packers struck first when they scored on a twenty-nine yard pass from Aaron Rodgers to Jordy Nelson. Three plays later Big Ben tried to test the Packers secondary as Nick Collins came up big with a thirty seven yard interception return for a touchdown, making the game a fourteen point game. But the Steelers answered scoring ten straight until the Packers scored again with a twenty-one yard pass from Aaron Rodgers to Greg Jennings, making the score at the half 21-10. With the Packers getting the ball to start the second half they looked to push the intensity and try to get off to another fast start. The Steelers defense came up big when they got a three and out and scored on their next possession on a Rashard Mendenhall eight yard run. The game ending score ended up being Packers 31 Steelers 25. My thought was that the Packers would win by a touchdown but I was only an extra point off. I thought if the fast pace Packers defense could get to Big Ben and disrupt his rhythm than they would win the. There stout defense recovered three turnovers and one defensive touchdown. Aaron Rodgers cut up the Steelers defense for three hundred and four yards with three touchdowns. I am very thankful that the Packs won because I hate the Steelers pretty much more than any other team in the NFL.

Miami Heat

The Miami Heat are now tied for second with Chicago with the second best record in the East. They are 34-14 and have two of the top ten players in the entire league play day in and day out. The combo of LeBron James and Dwayne Wade is a force to be reckoned with. When Chris Bosh plays his game the Miami Heat are unstoppable and will not be beaten by anyone. On Christmas day, the defending NBA champions, the Los Angles Lakers met the Miami Heat in one of the most storied games of the year. Everyone in the world thought this game would go down to the buzzer but that did not happen. Miami blew the Lakers out of the water winning 96-80. The Lakers lost on there home court in a bad way. This game showed the dominance the Heat can show when all three players play to there potential. LeBron added a triple double with 27 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists and Chris Bosh racked up 24 points and also 13 rebounds. The only true problem with the Heat's play right now is there chemistry. The Boston Celtics have played together for almost four to five years now and there chemistry is on a high level. Once the playoff hit there chemistry might be there downfall in the end, but if that comes together it will be a great end to the regular season with LeBron James and Chris Bosh end up with there first NBA championship.
